Job Description

Our client is looking for a Graduate Financial Planner to join their team, who can they train and develop into an advising position. You will work closely with the experienced Financial Planners in the team, and they will provide you with mentoring, coaching and guidance. You will be given the opportunity to get involved in client services and paraplanning tasks in order to learn more about financial planning and progress very quickly from there!

What you will be doing:

  • Working with Financial Planners and their clients

  • Assisting with the preparation and implementation of Statements of Advice

  • Database management and general adhoc admin duties

  • Liaising with clients to coordinate meetings and follow up on any enquiries

The role would suit someone who is ambitious and eager to build a career for themselves in the financial planning industry. You will have the following:

  • Relevant degree qualification, with any financial planning qualifications to be looked upon favourably

  • Desire to succeed and build a successful career

  • Polished communication skills and presentation

  • Australian/New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency

  • Excellent work ethic

  • ‘Can do’ attitude

  • Eagerness to learn
