We are looking for a friendly experienced individual to join an experienced and dynamic team. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in Bookkeeping or Accounting based roles and using Xero or other accounting software. The role is part-time and flexible in nature, ideal for an existing bookkeeper that might run their own business to supplement their income!

Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in Bookkeeping or Accounting based roles and using Xero or other accounting software. The role is part-time and flexible in nature, ideal for an existing bookkeeper that might run their own business to supplement their income!

Ideally you will have previous experience in a range of bookkeeping duties such as, accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, invoice management, month end reporting, BAS and tax requirements.

Our client are a Brisbane based broker with teams across asset finance, residential lending, commercial funding and property development.   • Part time role – approximately 24 hours per week spread across 3-4 days

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with an accountant, developing your skills and providing support
  • Oversee the smooth operations of accounts payable and receivable
  • Undertake weekly account reconciliations and review
  • Manage invoices, payments and commissions calculations and payments
  • Assist with BAS and end of month reconciliations and reporting
  • Reviewing transactions ensuring accuracy

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting Support or Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Experience with Xero preferred but not necessary
  • A highly organised nature and high attention to detail
  • The ability to manage a variety of tasks and prioritise accordingly
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
