We are seeking an experienced Life Risk Advisor to join our client’s team in the Gold Coast, Brisbane, or Melbourne office. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a passion for providing exceptional risk advice and service. The successful candidate will manage existing client relationships, provide expert risk guidance to SME clients, and actively contribute to identifying and on-boarding new business opportunities.

What will you be doing?  

  • Maintain and nurture an existing client portfolio of around 150 clients, delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Collaborate with back-office and administrative teams to ensure seamless client renewals and ongoing management.
  • Provide comprehensive risk advice to SME clients, tailoring solutions to their specific needs in areas such as Business and Personal Life Insurance.
  • Utilise your technical expertise to guide clients on complex matters including Buy/Sell agreements, Key Person insurance, and Personal Life coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with our team of Life Risk specialists to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our client base.
  • Leverage referrals and existing relationships within the larger brokerage to generate new leads and business prospects.
  • Share insights, knowledge, and best practices within the skilled professional team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all client interactions and business dealings.
  • Adhere to industry regulations and standards, including requirements set by FASEA accreditation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in risk management to provide well-informed advice.
  • Commit to ongoing personal and professional development, continuously enhancing your expertise in the field.

 
What do you need?  

  • Demonstrated experience as a Financial Adviser servicing and developing a client base.
  • A solid technical background and detailed understanding of insurance
  • Relevant industry qualifications or working towards the degree. Would also consider experienced risk planners who have FASEA qualifications but may not necessarily be completing their degree.
  • Professionalism and strong ethics / integrity
  • FASEA Accreditation
